Children need to learn to recognise different emotions and what they mean.  They also need to learn strategies to help themselves feel better when they have unpleasant emotions.

Children who have a range of healthy coping strategies are able to get through life’s bumpy times more easily.  They are also less likely to develop mental illnesses or suicidal thoughts.

Coping Kids is a 5-session program to help parents teach their children to develop and maintain healthy coping strategies.  It is suitable for parents with children aged 18 months to 17 years.
