Perinatal Wellbeing
This training program is designed for midwives, OBGYNs and other health professionals and students who provide care to women during the perinatal period. Its primary focus is on teaching participants how to support those who are distressed while minimizing the risk of causing harm and finding opportunities to connect women and their families with biopsychosocial supports to optimise family health and well-being. The program, Care Collaborate Connect, covers fundamental principles applicable to supporting anyone in distress, followed by more specific considerations tailored to women and their families during the perinatal period. This self-directed training allows participants to progress at their own pace. With a 6-month access period from the time of enrollment, individuals can review the content as needed to enhance their knowledge and skills.
